The St. Canute was built
in Denmark in 1931,originally name the "St. Knud".
For many years she worked
as a tugboat, an ice breaker and a fire-fighter in Odense harbor
in Frederikshavn.

Later she was sold to a
British company for use in the Clay Ports of Cornwall in England.
The "St. Canute"
was moored at Exeter Maritime Museum, Devonshire, England. She
could be seen there with her engine and boiler still in working
condition.

A true testimony to the
quality of workmanship on this fine Danish tug.
In 1999 she was purchased
by a private investor and returned to her home waters of Terneuzen
in the Netherlands.

This captivating scale
model is configured in the ice breaker fashion. She can also
be configured for a tug boat or a fireboat on custom orders.
Made with plank on frame
construction she is painted to the specifications of the actual
tugboat. Intricate details create an interesting vessel of attractive
design with its high funnel and workmanlike lines.
All decking wood is individually
cut and planked one at a time, then oiled to a fine finish.

She is secured with golden
pedestals onto a pine base stained in cherry. You may choose
your wooden base with your custom order. Consider adding a clear
acrylic dust cover to protect this beauty.
Ideally suited for any
home or office placement.
