Exotic
Wood Choices |
We hand select all our
woods for distinctive character as we believe the quality of
the art is all in the details. Have a wood choice not listed?
Let us know and we'll see what we can find to suit your individual
desires.
All woods are naturally
finished for the purest wood grain, color and radiance. Stains
are available upon request but not favored over rich natural
exotics.
|
|
|
Each piece is fine sanded
and hand finished for life long endurance.
We often utilize inlays
and contrasting border woods to add to the drama and beauty of
a case. We choose wood tone colors which will best compliment
the individual work of art.

otherwise change the color.

We offer a variety of lovely
base woods to choose from, this one is Pomelle Bubinga. Combined
with a protective clear acrylic cover for maximum uninterrupted
viewing. We use stronger, thicker acrylic to ensure the model's
protection. All edges are flame polished for clarity. |
Your case
top can lift off of the base from above the model in a standard
configuration.
A unique design to Raven case goods allows you
to consider an opening back panel. A great upgrade for larger
pieces and delicate square rigged sailing ships. When you don't
want to risk lifting the cover over the art, this is the answer.
|
|
|
Easy open
back options. Designed so the
entire back lifts away from the case with ease. This allows for
the simplest access to your art within, moving the back panel
completely out of the way.
All knobs and handles are
made of brass or matching wood. Extremely strong Rare Earth magnets
secure the panel's top in place.
This case is made of Mahogany
and exotic Lacewood, a lovely combination.
