The powerful 1800 horsepower
engine in the Banckert tugboat made her a great asset
to Holland. She was built in 1965 at the N.V. Scheepswerven in
Millingen, Holland.
Originally she was called
Maasbank and was renamed in September 1977 after serving
for 12 years in the western part of Holland.
